neurolathyrism disease caused by
the intake of L.sativus pulse.

Participated in a 5-day training course on “Biochemical Separation
Techniques”, jointly organized by Pharmacia Fine Chemicals Ltd. Of
Sweden and International Centre for Diarrhoeal Disease Research, Bangladesh
(ICDDR,B), September, 1984. The topics covered were FPLC system, isoelectric
focusing, chromatofocusing, affinity chromatography, ion-exchange
chromatography and gel filtration.
Participated in a 6-weeks course on “Computer Programming in BASIC”
conducted by Centre for Digital Electronics and Computer Science,
Department of Applied Physics and Electronics, University of Dhaka,
from May 1 to July 15, 1985.
Participated in a 5-day training course on “Radioisotope Handling
in the Tohoku University, Japan” and obtained Registration certificate,
1988.
Participated in a 20-day training course on “Extraction, Purification
and Characterization of Lipopolysaccharides” organized by ICDDR,B
and conducted by Dr. Andrej Weintraub from Karolinska Institute of
