A novel
affinity tag of 135 bp was designed for proteomic
characterization of functional protein complex. It was tagged
with cDNAs of
TrkA and its downstream
kinases eg.
Ras, Raf 1 etc.and expressed
in different mammalian and yeast cell line. Later functional
protein complexes were purified from those cell line to identify
novel interacting signaling proteins by peptide mass finger
printing. Through this work we propose a network of signaling
proteins down stream from TrkA .
